We have released FCleaner 1.2.5.1016 today. You could download the latest FCleaner here.
FCleaner will use a new way to detect the installation profile of Firefox 3.x. It may solve the ‘cannot find firefox’ problem.
In x64 systems, the compatible has been improved. We have tested FCleaner in Windows 7 x64, and it works fine. We don’t have Windows Vista x64 edition, so there are no tests in it. If you have this system, you could help us to have a test.

In this version, we have added the support to clean ‘Taskbar Jump List’ in Windows 7 system.
We also have tried to fix the ‘database is locked’ problem when scanning/cleaning Firefox cookies in this release. You could have a try if you have met this problem before.

In this version, many new cleaners have been added to FCleaner. The new cleaners can clean the history records of Adobe Reader 9.0, Adobe Photoshop CS3, Adobe Photoshop CS4, Adobe Illustrator CS4, Nero Burning ROM 9, OpenOffice 3.1, AVG AntiVirus 8.0 and AntiVir Desktop.
A new feature which allows FCleaner to cooperate with RAMRush has been available now. Double-Click the disk status bar in FCleaner, FCleaner will run RAMRush for you to optimize memory if you have installed RAMRush.

FCleaner 1.1.8.427 has been released today. You can find it here.
In this version, FCleaner can detect the process of Firefox automatically. If the Firefox is running, and you want to clean the Firefox caches/cookies/… , you will be shown a notice now. We add this feature because some files being used by Firefox could not be cleaned when Firefox is running.
We have also fixed a bug to clean the Firefox Internet caches in Windows Vista. Specially thanks the feedbacks and the helps from Jeromy Keller

FCleaner 1.1.4.129 has been released. Secure Deletion feature has been available from this version. You can download FCleaner here.
Now there are five deletion modes you can choose in ‘Options->General Options->Secure Deletion’:
1. Normal file deletion (Faster)
2. Pseudorandom Data -1 pass (Slower)
3. DoD 5220.22-M (8-306. / E) – 3 pass (Slower)
4. DoD 5220.22-M (8-36. / E, C and E) – 7 pass (Slower)
5. Gutmann – 35 pass (Very slow)
‘Normal file deletion’ is the deletion mode as default. The files deleted in this mode may be recovered by some file recover softwares.
Mode 2 to 5 will do a true secure deletion, the files deleted in these modes will not be recovered. But the deletion speed will be slower than the normal way.
So we suggest you use ‘Normal file deletion’ mode, because it is the fastest way. And use other secure deletion modes only when you really want to ‘SECURE’ delete files.
