FCleaner 1.1.2.102 Clean Shortcuts

January 5th, 2009 Leave a comment Go to comments

From this version 1.1.2.102, FCleaner can clean the invalid shortcuts in Start Menu, Quick Launch and Desktop. You can download it here. If you want to use this feature in Windows Vista, you need run FCleaner as ADMIN.

A note for Windows Vista users:
FCleaner can be run as a default level in Windows Vista OS. But some features of FCleaner need the admin level. So if you find that you cannot clean some items which have been found by FCleaner after you do ‘Run Cleaner’ action, you can try to run FCleaner in an admin level.

    WHEN TRYING TO DOWNLOAD “Latest Stable Version 1.1.2.102”, KEEP GETTING A “CORRUPTED FILE” MESSAGE. WHAT’S UP? OR, HOW DO I GET AN UNCORRUPTED UPDATE?

    THANKS

    @David G
    ‘Corrupted File’?
    Please make sure you download FCleaner from http://www.fcleaner.com/downloads/fcleaner.exe . Or you can try the ZIP format from http://www.fcleaner.com/downloads/fcleaner.zip .

    I have tested them, and they are both OK.
