FCleaner 1.1.8.427 has been released today. You can find it here.

In this version, FCleaner can detect the process of Firefox automatically. If the Firefox is running, and you want to clean the Firefox caches/cookies/… , you will be shown a notice now. We add this feature because some files being used by Firefox could not be cleaned when Firefox is running.

We have also fixed a bug to clean the Firefox Internet caches in Windows Vista. Specially thanks the feedbacks and the helps from Jeromy Keller 🙂

Does Portable Windows Cleaner and Installed Windows Cleaner have same result for cleaning? Because they have different way instalation in WIndows, maybe the installed Windows Cleaner is better. Is it?

When I run Portable edition, it says dynamic link library file gdiplus.dll is not found in specified path. Could u fix this.

FCleaner uses GDIPlus to draw its UI. From WinXP the GDIPlus.dll has been included in Windows. For Win9x/Me/2000, you need copy a gdiplus.dll file to the folder you have installed FCleaner. Usually you could find this DLL file in any XP system.
